Painting A Home Mural

I wanted my guest room to feel special—so I painted a mural! 🍃

The colors of this statement wall make this room feel so spa-like—seashell gray, cool bluegrass, warm sunshine, olive…I could lay in bed and stare at it for days.

Process-wise, I started with a mood and color palette and used a previous painting of mine as a reference—just like with my paintings and commissions.

Then, after selecting paint colors, I just let loose and started painting, balancing the composition and colors as I went. Watch the process here!

I’m telling you, it was a blast! I had so much fun creating it that I literally had butterflies in my stomach when I finished painting.
