Trust Yourself was created during a two-week artist residency in Summerville, South Carolina, after a harrowing but oh-so-enlightening encounter with an alligator. Its strength is found in the light shining through what feels like the end of a blustery storm. The deep blues and earthy greens feel grounding, while the soft pinks and pops of gold embody lightness, clarity, and new direction.
